Michelle is the Chief People Officer and oversees the People + Culture team; includes all the functions of HR and other people-focused functions. She is a transplant to Arkansas from Northern California where she earned bachelor's degrees in Accounting and HR from California State University. Michelle has two decades of experience in public and private accounting and a over decade of experience in HR. She started at HFA in 2011 as an accountant and transitioned to HR in 2013. At HFA, she has seen positive changes in the culture and loves working for a company that genuinely values its people.
