Michael Zimmer is an experienced educator and employee ownership advocate who has taught working adults for over a decade. With his colleague Trevyr Meade, Michael founded ownAI, a consulting firm to help employee-owned firms and nonprofits learn about and master AI in their business. Previously, Michael co-founded the nonprofit Illinois Center for Employee Ownership, and as Associate Professor at National University, has designed and taught college courses on artificial intelligence that have reached over 1,000 students, faculty & staff. He leads the AI Strategy Group at NU’s School of Arts, Letters, & Sciences.
