Change is not the enemy—stagnation is. In employee-owned companies, the ability to navigate uncertainty with confidence determines not only organizational performance but also the health of ownership culture itself. This session, led by organizational psychologist and speaker Dr. Celina Peerman, explores “the gap”—the space between where we are and where we want to be—and how leaders can use it to spark innovation, strengthen trust, and sustain momentum during times of transition. Participants will learn how to read the signs of shifting energy, engage employee-owners in problem-solving, and create clarity amid ambiguity. Through interactive reflection and practical frameworks, Dr. Peerman provides tools to help leaders transform hesitation into forward motion, thus encouraging a mindset where uncertainty becomes a source of creativity and growth.
Learning Objectives:
Analyze the factors that contribute to momentum shifts during organizational change and evaluate how employee-owners can proactively stabilize teams and sustain engagement.
Apply practical frameworks to reframe uncertainty as an opportunity for innovation, ownership thinking, and creative problem-solving within employee-owned companies.
Demonstrate effective communication and alignment with tools that support and maintain clarity between employee-owners during times of transition.
