Cybersecurity creates significant levels of risk for all businesses. Developing a robust cybersecurity strategy and posture should be a company priority. The ESOP board also has responsibility for overseeing cybersecurity, even though many ESOP board members are unfamiliar with cybersecurity fundamentals. This session will provide a basic overview of cybersecurity risk and mitigation. Topics covered will include the board's responsibility, compliance frameworks, and cyber liability insurance.
